In Loving Memory of Jamei Carter 

March 9, 2011 – August 19, 2025

With deep sorrow and abiding love, we announce the passing of Jamei Carter, a cherished member of both his family and the Leonberger Club of Texas. Jamei departed this world on August 19, 2025, at the age of 14, following complications from a seizure. Though his time with us was far too brief, his impact was profound and lasting.

Jamei was a gentle soul whose kindness radiated through every task he undertook. Whether assisting with club trials or quietly managing behind-the-scenes work, Jamei brought dedication, warmth, and joy to all who knew him. His presence was a gift—steady, thoughtful, and deeply appreciated.

He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Sheka; his brother, Jesiah; his sister, Gieselle; and his stepfather, Dorian. Their grief is shared by the entire Leonberger community, who mourn the loss of a young man whose spirit uplifted so many.

Jamie lived with autism and seizures, yet he never let these challenges define him. Instead, he found purpose in service, friendship, and the quiet strength of helping others. His life was a testament to resilience, compassion, and grace.
